Our American Girl as Katniss Everdeen in Hunger Games

TGIF.... I have a few moments to catch my breath....RELAX...  We've been working on our new American Girl dollhouse, hand made with lots of love.  It has been a family affair in building it, from a Great Uncle, Great grandma, to grandpa, grandma, mom and my granddaughter rolling up her sleeves and doing some sanding and painting.   Pics will follow as we are in the process of finally doing the fun part "decorating"!  Wanted to show you our AG doll dressed up as Katniss.  The quiver is made from a black foam piece cut and rolled and glued and trimmed with leatherette binding.  The arrows were put together by covering some wooden skewers with black electrical tape.  The bow is made with an actual branch and twine.  Of course the hairdo, headband and we have our "Katniss".  Enjoy!
